So I'm looking at my planner to see what has happened this week. One thing that happened was I went on exchanges and went to the Coeur d'Alene area. It is so pretty there and it's a fun little town. There is a beautiful lake with a resort that's in the middle and many rich people go there to have fun. I'm going to do that when I get rich! It was fun there and we saw many miracles.
Oh my goodness and something most excellent happened on Saturday!!! Molly was baptized and all her sins were washed away! It was truly beautiful to see a daughter of God enter into the waters of baptism and make promises with her Heavenly Father! She was so nervous, but she said that it was a very special experience. Then on Sunday she was confirmed and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She told us later that this was even better than the baptism which is great because she felt the Holy Ghost and she is doing awesome! I loved being there witness this great event and I will still keep in contact with her when I go back to Temple Square. I am so grateful that we have this wonderful way that we can return to our Father in Heaven and that way is through baptism. I love being a missionary so I can be the Lord's instrument in bringing souls unto Christ. There is a scripture that expresses how I feel. Alma 26:16 "Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel." I do know for a fact that this church is true and that this is the greatest work that we are doing!
For the past couple transfers we have been reading Atonement articles as a mission and reading those has helped me understand the Atonement even more! There is a quote by James E. Faust that says, "Our salvation depends on believing in and accepting the Atonement. Such acceptance requires a continual effort to understand it more fully." I know that to be true and we can understand the Atonement more by reading about our Savior and by using the Atonement and repenting each day. I know that if we do this we will be blessed and we will see our Savior's Atonement change you if you let it.
The Church is true; the Book is blue; and Moroni is still on the ball!
