Promised Pictures

 Me in the morning!
At the formal dining hall.
This, of course, is a Beehive carved into the railing on some stairs.
 Me playing the organ!
The organ that I play. The colors of the keys are opposite!! Cool, huh?!
This is my favorite room...the Buttery!

England

Hello people,
So I have an investigator who is from England and he is so prepared! I want to tell you all a dream that he had. He was running through a forest and God was chasing him. He finally stopped and God was shaking him by the shoulders and said "Why are you struggling" and handed him a Book of Mormon. When I heard this I was so happy! Heavenly Father is truly preparing His children for the knowledge of the Gospel to come to them. Especially in England where half of them are atheists! It is so great to see him grow and he agrees with everything that we have taught him! We are so surprised at how prepared he really is! He has a baptism date for February 16th and his local missionaries haven't even gotten a hold of him yet! Oh well, we will just continue teaching him. I have really seen so many miracles this transfer with the people that we have been teaching and it is just so great that God will bless those who are obedient and follow Him. It's cool to see just how much this church really is true and that some people don't even know that they're searching for it until they've found it! I really just makes sense! Sometimes, we all need to just go back to the basics and that's why I'm so glad that I came on my mission. It really has helped me to see how much this Gospel can bless the whole world and that's why God wants all worthy young men to go on missions and worthy young men to go on missions and worthy young women who want to go!
I love you all!!

To California

Dear family in California,
How is it in the sunny state? It's pretty cold here, but I'm staying warm! It's super quiet on the square, but we're in the Beehive house and even though there aren't many tours, we can call people and go on chat. So even though Beehive house is slow we're still doing work!
There is a Temple Square sister who is serving in the Santa Rosa mission right now. Take good care of her!
Even though the Square is really quiet we have had some youth groups come and we were able to talk with them about the Godhead. It was amazing to see some of their responses and what they've been leaning in the new "Come Follow Me" youth program. It's so great that this new program is all about Preach My Gospel. It's helping them to become missionaries at a young age.
Being in the Beehive house has been really great and I've learned so much about the early members of the church and their epic faith! There are so many stories of the faith of the pioneers and it's amazing to tell their story almost every day!
Love you all!

Hello

Hi family,
I am so excited that Brian got his mission call!! Some of the elders in my MTC district went to the Michigan Lansing mission! I am so glad that we have the opportunity to serve our Savior, Jesus Christ for 2 years or 18 months in our lives! It is such a great privilege and I have been learning so much about sacrifice and aligning our will with God's will. I know that God does send us to where we need to go because of the people that we will meet. I have met so many people who needed to hear my testimony and my experiences! This morning on chat there was a boy from England who came on and asked us why God lets bad things happen and I told him that we don't know everything, but as long as we put our trust in God and listen to the Holy Ghost that we can find peace in our lives. He wasn't taking anything that we were saying into his heart, but at least I was able to bear my testimony to him about our Heavenly Father and I just planted a seed. Hopefully he will have more questions and ask the missionaries again and by that time maybe he will be ready to learn!
That is one thing that has been making me feel discouraged while I'm here. That some people just don't want to listen to what we're saying! One time, we were in scriptures and revelation where they have the restoration and Joseph Smith and we taught four men the restoration, and one of them even said that he believed that Joseph Smith really did see God! But their problem was that they didn't think there could be only one true church on this earth today and that we didn't really need organized religion. I am so glad that I know the truth and that even though people might not believe it, I am so glad that I get to share my testimony with so many people that I come across with.
Thank you for all your support and I love getting emails from you all!
Love you!

Cool Stuff

Hey family!
How are you all?? I'm doing really good! My new companion is awesome and me and her have been having so much fun! We have just really been balancing fun and work and it's been great! I will send pictures of me and the organ to you soon. It's been cool because the organist gets to pick the music and also the musical numbers, so that's been really good fun.
We have just been getting miracle after miracle this transfer! We have been getting a lot of people on chat that want to learn more and we have been calling Abigail from England and she is so ready to be baptized!! She has such a  sweet spirit and her daughter said that she wants to learn as many languages that she can so that she can tell people who speak that language about Jesus Christ! That whole family just has so much faith and it's been great to watch them grow! They went to fast and testimon meeting on NSunday and they absolutely loved it! I'm going to England one day to visit them!!!
I've been able to do a lot of things this transfer that I've never done before. I was able to be a part of a young womens night thing where a young womens group came and we talked about the blessings of the Temple to them. It's really great to share your testimony to the young generation of today and help them out with their testimony. I hope that what I said was able to touch the heart of one of the girls in that group! I have a great love for the Temple and it is so sad to me to see people what don't want to learn anymore. There was this one lady who I took through God's Plan and she said that afterward that she was interested in learning about our church and I was able to send the local missionaries to her, but then I looked at it today and it said that the missionaries dropped he because she wasn't interested. It made me sooo sad!! Also, one of the sister missionaries called one of her converts of about one year and he is inactive now because he got offended at church and so he pulled his records. This sister was such a trooper over the phone and kept talking to him for over an hour and trying to help him to see that this is his eternal salvation at stake! She finally got him to commit to reading the Book of Mormon again and she will call him again.
I hope and pray that all of you can stay strong in the gospel because this really and truly is the only way to live with our Father in Heaven again! He wants us so bad! He wants to give all of us to Him so that we can be an instrument in His hands to help His other children to come back into the fold! It can be so hard and I've seen so many people who come on the Square who have fallen away and they think that they're happy. We had this one family who came into the Assembly Hall and said that he became a seventh day adventist because he didn't believe that church should be held on Sundays anymore...there probably was some other reason too, but that is what he told me. I know that this church is the only true church of God and that we have His authority here on the earth to perform miracles! I absolutely love Elder Holland's latest talk in general conference how he was saying "Feed My Sheep." That is a call to all of us! If we love Him, we need to feed His sheep and not go back to our 'nets'! If we have left our nets once, we should never go back to them, we should always be trying to feed His sheep! These are the last days, and this is the time for men to prepare to meet God. I hope that you all watch and pray for that day when He comes again!
I love you all!
